A reminder to owners about garbage collection: 

Marsh Landing garbage pickup is up on Tuesday and Friday, yard debris and recycling is picked up on Monday. St. Johns County contracts Seaboard Waste Systems to Marsh Landing. For any questions or concerns please feel free to call Seaboard Waste at (904) 825-0991.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
YARD WASTE: Seaboard Waste asks that all leaves, grass clippings and small yard debris be placed in a 32-gallon can or in heavy-duty trash bags for collection. Non-containerized leaves, grass clippings and small yard debris will not be collected. No can or bag may exceed 50 pounds. Tree limbs and shrubs are not to exceed 6 feet in length and 50 pounds in weight. All yard debris should be bagged, bundled, tied or containerized. Yard waste may only be placed curbside on Sunday, which is the day before the scheduled day of collection in Marsh Landing. Yard waste will not be picked up from common areas or from vacant Lots. Please respect your neighbors and do not place your yard debris on vacant lots or on neighboring property.
 
GARBAGE: Place all garbage in a 32-gallon trash can or heavy plastic bag secured properly to prevent scattering of waste due to animals or wind. Non-containerized garbage, excluding bulky waste, will not be collected. No can or bag may exceed 50 pounds. You may place cans or bags curbside the night before or prior to 7:30 am on the morning of service. Marsh Landing garbage pickup is up on Tuesday and Friday.
 
RECYCLING: Recyclable materials include the following: Newspapers, aluminum cans, metal food cans, plastic beverage containers #1 & #2, and glass.  Place recyclables curbside the night before or prior to 6:30 am on the scheduled day of collection, which is on Monday in Marsh Landing.
 
HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE REMOVAL: Please call Seaboard to make arrangements
 
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS MATERIALS: St. Johns County offers a recycling program for household materials such as paint, paint thinners, fertilizers, pesticides, gasoline, motor oil, computers, electronic equipment and batteries.
 
CONSTRUCTION & DEMOLITION MATERIALS: WILL NOT BE COLLECTED CURBSIDE (wood, sheetrock, concrete, etc) for disposal information please call St. Johns County at (904) 824-9720.
